EXAMPLES OF PREVIOUS WORKSHOPS & EDUCATION

L.A. County Department of Public Health
Our Executive Director was invited as a panelist to speak at two regional meetings focusing on strategies to support clients healing in a time of uncertainty. We also hosted a rock ritual activity to promote self-care for public health employees.

L.A. County Department of Mental Health
Common Ground Grief facilitates Adult and Transitional Aged
Youth (TAY) Bereavement Support Group Trainer of Trainers (TOT) training. The course consists of four cohorts consisting of two full-day training courses. Two of the cohorts are targeted for bereaved adult clients and the other two cohorts target bereaved TAY.

Little House Recovery Home
Common Ground Grief provides peer support groups for participants of Little House and professional development grief workshops for staff. Clients participate in activities that identify and express emotions, memorialize their deceased loved one and promote resilience and healing through coping skills.
