1-Day Family Grief Camp

2025 Camp Recap

Families Healing Together

Our 1-Day Family Grief Camp takes place in nature, in Long Beach, California and is open to families who have experienced the death of a loved one. Families explore their grief in a safe and supportive environment alongside other families. This experience is designed to help families learn to communicate and face their grief together in a supportive environment. At camp, families can expect a variety of activities to do together, alongside other families, and in small groups according to age and development. Family Grief Camp provides a space for peer support and helps families find comfort and hope while connecting with other families who are experiencing similar things.

We aim to make camp accessible and thanks to our supporters and donors, we can charge a nominal fee of $150 per family to attend camp, regardless of family size. We also offer camp scholarships for families who cannot afford the $150 fee. Please let us know if your family could benefit from a partial or full scholarship.

Our Family Camp is made possible through the generosity of caring individuals and corporate partners. It costs about $500 for each camper. By sponsoring a camper, you’re giving a grieving family the chance to find comfort, connection, and hope without facing their loss alone. Your support truly makes a difference. Thank you! *Under fund selection, please select Family Camp - Sponsor A Family when donating.

Join us in creating a day of connection, healing, and hope for children, teens, and adults who are grieving. Our camp depends on the support of compassionate volunteers who help make this experience meaningful and smooth for everyone involved. Please visit our Volunteer Page for a full list of volunteering opportunities.
