Our model works because it brings people together who share the same experience. We do this through peer support groups, family workshops, one-day grief camps, and remembrance experiences where people can feel that they're not alone. This year, we sat with people who have shared about their loss, some for the first time. We watched families who met at camp make plans to see each other again. 

We're honored to help guide people through their grieving journey with programs that are free or low-cost. Grief doesn't stop at a county line, and Orange County organizations, individuals, and families have been reaching out for the exact programs we already offer in the Long Beach area. On September 24th, we're holding our official launch event to share that Common Ground Grief is here and to connect with the community partners, resources, and individuals who share our goals and believe in our mission.
