Common Ground Grief Family Camp - March 2026

Camp Overview:

1-Day Family Grief Camp is a one day event that is designed to help your family explore your grief around the death of a family member in a safe and supportive environment alongside other families. Families engage in a variety of activities and reflections together, with other families, and in small groups according to age and development. It is a day filled with activities, conversation, moments of stillness, tears and laughter, memory making

Camp Includes:

🍕: Light Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks and S'mores

🖼️: Frame decoration by your family honoring your person

🐰: A stuffed rabbit for each family member and book "The Rabbit Listened"

🌲: Time in nature as a family prompts for activities and discussion

💬: Healing circles according for each family member to have their own space to process grief

🫶: Connection and support with groups led by trained facilitators

🎯: Archery & Games as a family with other families

🎨: Individual Art Projects

🪴: Potted plant representing your family's future hopes and dreams

🧘‍♀️: Mindfulness, Breathwork, and Grief Yoga

🕯️: Memorial ceremony with candles

🧰: A grief tool kit with books, coping skill ideas, books, and resources to continue grief processing at home

Pricing:

Full and partial scholarships are available.

The suggested donation for each adult family member (age 18+) is $100.

All family members under 18 years of age are free due to the generosity of our sponsors.

One ticket per person is required.
